The Apartment

Romana has an important story. A friend lived in the building and wanted to buy the ground-floor apartment, but it was too large for him alone. So we bought it together and split it into two independent units.

Casa Romana 121 B is one of the two large studios born from that division — and it has something rare in central Florence: a small private courtyard. We recovered it by emptying it of decades of accumulation and giving back its original function as a domestic open space.

It took years of permits and restoration: the apartment was in truly terrible condition. Today, also thanks to the building's facade restoration, it has become an elegant way to live in the centre. We are in the ZTL, two steps from Porta Romana and Piazza della Calza, with every kind of service. The condominium has just six units, with minimal costs.
