The Apartment
The Borgo home belongs to my mother — and it is like her: elegant and welcoming. Inside an 18th-century palazzo, the apartment has three bedrooms with parquet floors, a separate kitchen, a dining area and a small sitting room.
More than eleven windows give a 360° view over the city, and two terraces offer a unique panorama. It sits in a pedestrian zone, with parking nearby and every amenity close at hand.
There is no lift — but my mother still climbs the stairs regularly today, and uses the home when she is not in the countryside, where she retired to write. A family home that we open to those who want to experience Florence with the same care.
