The Apartment
Ficino is the latest arrival in the family. It sits in a stately 1950s palazzo on the elegant Piazza Savonarola, just a few steps from the historic centre: the apartment used to be the caretaker's residence.
Bought in 2002, it was in a state of neglect and abandonment. Bringing it back to life required major works and permits from the Soprintendenza. Today it has a CIN and the proper licence for tourist use.
It has two rooms with semi-basement access, but plenty of windows and bright light: south-facing, looking onto a private garden. The bathroom too has a large window. An entrance hall separates the three rooms, and a roomy storage space completes the layout.
Quiet, with autonomous heating, outside the ZTL and a short distance from the station: ideal for those who want to live in Florence in a convenient, well-served area.
